Become an Open Source Contributor to NumPy In-Person

Curious about how most scientific/data science Python OS projects are setup on Github? Interested in becoming an active contributor to the infamous NumPy? Then come get your hands dirty with us! We'll be browsing raw NumPy code, diving into real pull requests and issues, and then going over the typical "fork/clone/branch/hack/send PR/get feedback/hack some more/squash PR/get merged/rebase/rinse/repeat" process that is followed in these projects.  Moreover, we'll be covering the most relevant Data Science tools in python: Pandas, scikit-learn, NumPy and SciPy.
