Substance and Reaction Searching with SciFinder and Reaxys In-Person
In this hands-on workshop, you will be introduced to the essential databases for chemical substance and reaction information: SciFinder and Reaxys. We will cover the fundamentals of searching each database--by name, number, and structure/substructure--as well as their unique features. Other library databases and reference works for locating information on substances and reactions will be discussed as time permits.
Attendees must be affiliated with UC San Diego (students, faculty, staff, etc.) with a ucsd.edu email address.
