SciFinder and Reaxys for Searching Substances and Reactions In-Person
In this hands-on workshop, you will be introduced to the essential databases for locating chemical substance and reaction information: SciFinder and Reaxys (which recently launched a new interface). We will cover the fundamentals of searching each database--by name, number, and structure/substructure--as well as their unique features. Other databases and reference works for chemical substances and reactions will be discussed as time permits.
This workshop is for UC San Diego faculty, staff and students only. A ucsd.edu email address is required.
