Using GIS for Global Health In-Person

Maps are powerful tools and can help shed insight into patterns we might not otherwise see. Geographic Information Systems (GIS) enables you to create your own maps using your own data or data made available from agencies or organizations. This workshop will provide a hands-on introduction to ArcGIS Online, a GIS tool, to look a global and local health issues. We will map a dataset and explore ways of analyzing it through a geographic lens. No prior experience with GIS is necessary. (60min workshop)
